Nowadays, environmental protection and renewable energy are being promoted. Asphalt crushing equipment can operate on asphalt pavement, and milling and planing waste asphalt concrete is of great significance. Recycled asphalt can be milled and sieved, mixed with recycled reducing agents and a small amount of new asphalt, and reused for road maintenance and paving. This way, the treatment of old asphalt will not cause secondary pollution to the environment, and the raw materials will be greatly reduced.
The most commonly used method now is the jaw crusher for crushing large particle RPA, which achieves crushing by tapping and squeezing the raw materials. The recycled asphalt is a mixture of viscous asphalt and stone materials. Using a crusher to strike and squeeze it has a general effect on viscous asphalt, and the crushing effect is not ideal and cannot meet the grading requirements. Therefore, the operation effect of the crusher is poor and the recovery rate is slow. The asphalt concrete vibrating screening machine consists of a screening box with layered screen mesh inside and a frame at the edge. There are two horizontal slides inside the slides, fixed on the inner wall. The slides are composed of sliding plates with a frame in the middle, and the limiting components are installed on the outer wall of the screening box. This screening equipment is practical, easy to disassemble.
The double roll secondary crushing system is equipped with two sets of crushing rollers, which are installed alternately. One is equipped with a spring device, which adjusts the gap between the crushing rollers through the spring to ensure the crushing of particles and yield. Compared with hammer crushing and impact crushing, roller crushing and crushing team PAR raw materials have less gradation damage. The roller has low rotation speed, low impact, long crushing service life, and basically no dust.
After RAP meets the requirements, it will be sent to the mixing plant for processing or stacked in the storage room. Under the combined action of self weight, temperature, and old asphalt, RAP can easily clump again, so RAP should not be stacked too high, preferably not exceeding 2.5 meters, and mechanical equipment should not move or stay on the stacked materials. In order to reduce the quality impact of recycled mixtures in RAP, the moisture content should not exceed 3% and RAP materials need to be covered. RAP materials should also be stacked in a hard place, with proper drainage, rain protection, and ventilation to avoid open flames and be isolated from items.
When mixing recycled materials in the factory, it is recommended to use independent RAP material equipment. During construction, the RAP temperature is not sufficient and needs to be heated before mixing with new asphalt. The stirring time can be extended when the mixture is uniform and the white material is evenly mixed. In fact, the mixing time of recycled mixtures is 15 seconds longer than that of ordinary asphalt mixtures.
